Alright, alright, let’s talk about this young’un, this… what’s her name? Ah, yes, Andreeva. This tennis girl, you know? Heard folks chatterin’ ’bout her. Seems like she’s stirrin’ up a fuss in the tennis world.

- She lost to her friend in some junior final, they said. Cried for a week, poor thing. But heck, she bounced back, didn’t she? Tough as nails, this one.
- Then she went and beat that Jabeur woman. Heard Jabeur is real good too, been to them Grand Slam finals three times. Andreeva, she beat her 6-0 in one set. Didn’t even let her catch her breath, it seems. Whipped her good, she did.
People are callin’ her a “sensation,” a “teenage sensation.” That’s fancy talk for “she’s darn good and everyone’s watchin’.” They show highlights on the TV, little clips of her smacking that ball, runnin’ all over the court. She’s fast, that’s for sure, like a chicken chasin’ after a bug. And strong too, the way she hits that ball. Whack! It goes zoomin’ across the net.
I tell ya, watchin’ her play is somethin’ else. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. Will she win? Will she lose? It’s like watchin’ a good soap opera, only with more runnin’ and less cryin’. Well, maybe some cryin’ when they lose, but mostly just runnin’ and whacking.
