Well, you young folks and your fancy games. Back in my day, we didn’t have no internet or fancy phones to play with. We had our hands and our brains, and that was enough. They know all sorts of words, words I ain’t never even heard of. Good for them, I say. Everyone’s got their own talents, I reckon. Mine is probably to find the shortest solution or the longest solution.

Them’s the things that matter to me, not some fancy word puzzle. But if you like this crossword move laterally, you can keep working on it. This is important to keep your brain working.
This whole “crossword” thing reminds me of a time when I was a young girl, back on the farm. We didn’t have no fancy games back then, like I said.
