Alright, so I was watching some golf highlights the other day, saw Fred Couples, smooth swing as always, even now. And it just popped into my head – who’s his wife? Is he married? You know how these random thoughts hit you.
So, I did what anyone would do, grabbed my phone and just typed “fred couples wife” into the search bar. Pretty straightforward. Got a ton of results back, news bits, celebrity pages, the usual stuff.
First thing I noticed was, okay, it wasn’t just one name. I saw Deborah Couples mentioned quite a bit, seemed like they were married a long time ago, back when he was really tearing up the tour. Then I saw another name, Thais Baker. That story seemed a bit more complicated, read some sad bits about her passing away some years back. So, definitely not the current wife.
Okay, so who is it now?
That was my main question, really. Is he married now? I had to sift through some older articles first. Kept scrolling, looking for more recent stuff. Finally, started seeing the name Suzanne Hannemann pop up more consistently in articles from the last few years.
Yeah, seemed like Suzanne was the one. Found some reports saying they got married, maybe late 2021 or sometime in 2022? Can’t recall the exact date off the top of my head, but it was fairly recent. They’d apparently known each other for a while before tying the knot.
Didn’t dig much deeper into who she is or what she does, just wanted to satisfy that initial curiosity, you know? Saw a few pictures, they look happy. Good for him.
