So, I was down a bit of a rabbit hole the other day, just thinking about old school wrestling. You know, the greats. And naturally, Bret Hart popped into my head. The Hitman. Man, what a technician in the ring. Anyway, that got me wondering about what he’s up to now, outside of the spotlight.
I remembered hearing he’d gotten married again some years back. It wasn’t his first wife, Julie, who people might remember from back in the day. This was someone new. So, I decided to just, you know, look around a bit online, see what the story was. Didn’t do anything crazy, just some casual searching while having my morning coffee.
Finding Out About Stephanie
Turns out, his current wife’s name is Stephanie Washington-Hart. I spent a bit of time just piecing together little bits I could find. It wasn’t like I was doing some deep investigation, just curious is all.
Here’s kinda what I gathered:
- They got married back in 2010, I think it was. So they’ve been together a good while now.
- There’s a bit of an age difference there, which, hey, whatever works for them, right? Not my business, really.
- Seems like she’s not really someone who was ever involved in the wrestling world before meeting Bret.
- They seem to keep things pretty low-key. You don’t see them splashed all over the place, which I kind of respect. After a life like Bret’s had, probably nice to have some quiet.
It wasn’t some huge discovery process, obviously. Just me satisfying a bit of curiosity about a figure I remembered well from years ago. It’s interesting, sometimes, to see where life takes people after they step away from the thing that made them famous. Seeing Bret settled down again, seemingly happy with Stephanie, well, it’s just good to see. He went through a lot, health scares and family tragedies and all that.
