This Tiafoe, oh, he’s a good boy, a real good boy. Playing that tennis, you know? He’s going up against that Hurkacz fella. Heard they call him Hubie, or something like that. Anyway, that Hurkacz, he’s a tough one, a real tough one. That match, they call it, Tiafoe vs Hurkacz, gonna be a big one, a real big one. I seen it on my phone.
They gonna play on August 17th, 2024. That’s what I heard, anyway. They play in Cincinnati, wherever that is. It’s in the USA, I know that much. They call it ATP Cincinnati 2024. Fancy name for a tennis game, if you ask me. I don’t know much about that ATP. Is that like a club, or a gang or something?
Now, this Tiafoe, he’s fast, real fast. Runs around that court like a chicken with its head cut off. But that Hurkacz, he’s tall, like a beanpole. Hits that ball hard, real hard. I don’t know how Tiafoe is gonna handle those hard hits. Might knock him right over, it might.

They played before, these two. Tiafoe and Hurkacz, they got what they call a “head-to-head.” Like two goats butting heads, I reckon. Don’t know who won more, though. Don’t really keep track of those things. Just like to watch them play. But I think Hurkacz won more. I’m pretty sure about that. He’s a tough guy.
This match, this Tiafoe vs Hurkacz one, it’s gonna be on that Grandstand court. Big court, lots of people watching. Hope Tiafoe ain’t nervous. Lots of pressure, you know? Playing in front of all those folks. I’d be nervous, that’s for sure. My hands would be shaking like a leaf.

I remember seeing some other fella, Taylor Fritz, play Tiafoe once. Five sets, they played. Five! That’s a lot of tennis. Fritz won that one, I think. Heard he was gonna play some other fella named Sinner. Don’t know him. But Tiafoe needs to play better than he did against Fritz if he wants to beat Hurkacz.

This Tiafoe vs Hurkacz match, it’s gonna be something, I tell ya. Gonna be a real barn burner. I’ll be watching, that’s for sure. Even if I have to ask my grandson to show me how to use that internet thing again. Gotta see who wins. Gotta see if Tiafoe can make it to that US Open. Or if Hurkacz will stop him.
These young folks and their tennis. Back in my day, we didn’t have time for such things. We were too busy working in the fields. But it’s fun to watch, I’ll give ’em that. Especially when it’s Tiafoe vs Hurkacz. That’s a match worth watching, it is. I hope Tiafoe can run fast enough, and Hurkacz doesn’t hit the ball too hard. That would be bad, real bad. But we’ll see. We’ll see.
